Step1: Open Google Maps on your device.

Step2: Click on the more button represented as three horizontal lines on the top left corner of your screen.

Step3: Tap on the timeline

Step5: Select a month by swiping left and right.

Step6: To view your location history tap on a date. All your traveled routes from that date will appear on your screen along with the duration and distance.

How to Disable location on Google maps

It’s kinds of creepy to know that Google has all your data save with it from your name, age, and location too. Though you have some control over tracking, you can disable location tracking if you don’t want your address saved with Google. Here is how you can disable location on google map.

Step1: Open google map on your device.

Step2: Click on the more button represented as three horizontal lines on the top left corner of your screen.

Step3: Click on Settings.

Step4: Click on the personal content option.

Step5: Go to location and tap on the field that shows location history is on.

Step6: Toggle off switch next to each of your device for which you don’t want Google to track location.

If you want to pause tracking on your account as a whole, there’s an option for that too. For this toggle Location History switch and click on Ok button in the dialog box.
